Manhattan
Insurance for Manhattan, written from Manhattan.
Our office is at 147 W 35th St, Midtown — a block from Herald Square. Most of the policies we write below Harlem are co-op or condo HO-6, renters, and the auto policies that turn 60 garaging questions into one straight answer.
Manhattan-specific things we know about
- Co-op proprietary leases and walls-in coverage. The HO-6 you actually need is a function of what the building's master policy covers. We read both.
- Pre-war condos and "ordinance & law" coverage. NYC building code upgrades after a loss can dwarf the loss itself. Most policies don't include enough.
- Garaging address rules. If you're in Manhattan but the car sleeps in NJ, your policy needs to match — or your claim risks denial.
- Renters in rent-stabilized buildings. Landlords require liability limits that almost no one reads. We make sure you carry the right one without overpaying.
- Umbrella for higher-net-worth households. If you own equity, a co-op, and a car in NY, a $1M umbrella often isn't enough.
