Kelly is a native New Yorker and the child of immigrants. She majored in actuarial science and went directly into insurance — the goal was to help fellow New Yorkers protect what they've built and prepare for what they can't predict.

Why an actuary opened an Allstate agency
Most insurance buyers don't lose money to the wrong premium. They lose money to the wrong policy — under-selected limits, missing endorsements, a deductible that doesn't match their savings cushion. Underwriting is math; sales scripts are not. Kelly's training is in the math.
She opened the agency in 2016 for one reason: New York is a brutal market to navigate alone. Five-borough garaging rules. Pre-war condos with master policies that need to be read line by line. Rent-stabilized buildings with unusual subrogation. A second language at the kitchen table that the 1-800 number won't accommodate.
What this means for you
Every quote starts with the underlying risk math — not a template. We read the master policy before we quote your HO-6. We check the FEMA flood map before we quote your South Shore HO-3. We ask where the car actually sleeps before we quote auto. When the answer is "you don't need that coverage," we say so.
The team
Kelly leads the agency. The account-management team — Nereida, Emely, and Megan — handles policy reviews, renewals, and claims. Combined we speak English, Mandarin Chinese (普通话), and Spanish fluently. The same person who quotes you will walk you through your first claim.
Where we cover, where we don't
Our primary book is New York: all five boroughs, all of Long Island (Nassau and Suffolk including the Hamptons), Westchester, Rockland, and the Hudson Valley up through Dutchess and Ulster. We're also licensed in New Jersey and write there when a New York client owns or rents across the river (Jersey City, Hoboken, Newark, Edgewater). If you're outside those two states, we'll refer you to someone we trust rather than write a policy we can't service properly.
