What is Kelly Qu Agency? +
Kelly Qu Agency is a locally owned, exclusive Allstate insurance agency in Midtown Manhattan. Founded by Kelly Qu in 2016, we serve clients across all of New York — the five boroughs, Long Island, Westchester, and the Hudson Valley — plus cross-state into New Jersey, in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Spanish.

147 W 35th St, Ste 603, New York, NY 10001 — a block from Herald Square. Open Mon–Thu 8:30 AM–7:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, weekends by appointment.
Is Kelly Qu Agency the same as Allstate? +
We're an exclusive Allstate agency. That means we're a locally owned business that exclusively sells Allstate products. Every policy we write is issued and backed by Allstate.
What states are you licensed in? +
New York (primary) and New Jersey. The bulk of our book is NY — five boroughs, Long Island, Westchester, the Hudson Valley. NJ comes up most often when a New York client owns or rents in Jersey City, Hoboken, or Newark.
What languages do you speak? +
English, Mandarin Chinese (普通话), and Spanish — by staff, across the entire policy lifecycle (quote, delivery, renewal, claim). Not by translation app.
What's the cheapest way to insure my car in NYC? +
Honest answer: it depends on your ZIP, driving history, vehicle, and where the car is actually garaged. Biggest free discount is bundling auto + renters or auto + condo — typically 10–20% in NYC. Biggest paid-down discount is moving to higher deductibles if your savings can absorb them. The cheapest policy that doesn't pay you when you need it isn't actually cheap.
I had a lapse / DUI / SR-22 issue — will you write me? +
Often, yes. NY doesn't use SR-22; NJ does. We're familiar with both. High-risk auto markets are available, priced higher, and we'll quote both Allstate and adjacent non-standard markets and tell you the real number.
Do I have to come to your office? +
No. Most service is by phone, email, video, or e-signature. Walk-ins are welcome but never required — practical if you're in the outer boroughs or in New Jersey.
How fast can I get a quote? +
Auto and renters are typically same-day. Home, condo, life, and business quotes are 1–3 business days depending on what underwriting needs (replacement-cost report, master policy review, medical exam, business documents).
Will my rate go up if I file a claim? +
Usually yes, with two exceptions worth knowing: most weather / comprehensive claims have a smaller premium impact than at-fault liability claims, and small claims under your deductible shouldn't be filed at all. We'll tell you which side a claim falls on before you file.
Do you offer payment plans? +
Yes. Most policies offer monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual billing. Paid-in-full typically saves 5–8%.
